Michael Strahan's daughter Isabella, 19, shares 'not fun' health update ahead of chemotherapy

Michael Strahan's daughter Isabella Strahan is sharing the "not fun" part of her journey before she starts chemotherapy for cancer.
The 19-year-old student and model posted a YouTube vlog on Wednesday, showing the latest in her journey after she was diagnosed with medulloblastoma in October.
In the vlog, Isabella shared the procedure for getting her chemotherapy port placed in her chest, which allows her medical team to draw blood and administer treatments without continuous needles.
"I’m getting my port placed today, which is a device that goes on your chest for administering chemo, getting my blood drawn, all that fun stuff," Isabella said, adding, "I’m not excited."
The model also had to be administered for an IV. "I would say it's not my fave," she said as she winced during the process.
Isabella, who was joined by her mom, Jean Muggli, and her aunt, took a break from treatment for a card game while she was "waiting for a kidney test."
"I got an IV put in for this kidney thing… Never fun. Healing from my port surgery… Not fun at all. I now have a wire in my chest. They just put radioactive dye in my body and then I have a blood draw and then an EKG, then I have another blood draw, then I have an MRI," she said of her "busy day" ahead.
In January, Strahan and Isabella revealed her cancer diagnosis on "Good Morning America" with host Robin Roberts.
"I didn't notice anything was off till probably like Oct. 1," the 19-year-old said. "That's when I definitely noticed headaches, nausea, couldn't walk straight." Eventually, she said, she began to dread waking up because she was throwing up.
Isabella's twin sister Sophia encouraged her to seek treatment and Isabella received her diagnosis in October following an MRI.
One day before Isabella's 19th birthday, she had surgery to remove the tumor, which was slightly larger than a golf ball.
Strahan was absent from his hosting duties for three weeks at the end of October into November due to "some personal family matters," an ABC spokesperson told USA TODAY in a statement at the time. Up until his "GMA" appearance with Isabella, he had not gone into the details of his absence.

What is medulloblastoma?
Medulloblastoma is a cancer that typically develops in the cerebellum, the back of the brain responsible for movement and motor skills, according to the National Cancer Institute.
The cancer type is most commonly found among children.
